Learn how to use PromptPDF effectively

Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you create your first document with PromptPDF in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Navigate to the App

From the PromptPDF homepage, click on the "Get Started" button or navigate to the "/app" page.

Step 2: Choose a Template

Select a template that matches the type of document you want to create. PromptPDF offers templates for:

  • Formal Letters
  • Job Applications
  • Resignation Letters
  • Academic Papers
  • Resumes/CVs
  • And many more...

Click on the "Template" tab in the template selector and choose the appropriate template for your needs.

Step 3: Select an AI Model

Choose an AI model to generate your document. Different models have different strengths:

  • Qwen QwQ 32B: High-performance model for general document generation
  • DeepSeek R1 Zero: Specialized in reasoning tasks and complex documents
  • OlympicCoder 32B: Powerful model for structured content
  • Gemma 3 27B: Google's advanced document generation model

For your first document, we recommend using the Qwen QwQ 32B model for its balanced performance.

Step 4: Enter Your Prompt

In the prompt field, describe what you want your document to contain. Be as specific as possible. For example:

Write a formal letter to request a two-week vacation from July 15 to July 29, 2025. I've been working at the company for 3 years and have important family events to attend. My name is Alex Johnson and my manager is Sarah Williams.

Step 5: Generate Your Document

Click the "Generate Document" button to create your document. The AI will process your prompt and generate a professionally formatted document based on your selected template.

Step 6: Edit Your Document (Optional)

Review the generated document and make any necessary edits. You can:

  • Click the "Editor" tab to edit the content directly
  • Add or remove information
  • Adjust formatting
  • Refine language and tone

Step 7: Export Your Document

Once you're satisfied with your document, click the "Download PDF" button to export it as a PDF file. You can also choose other formats like DOC, CSV, or Markdown depending on your needs.
